Franchise mode allows for a great deal of micro management. From signing players, managing injuries and negotiating contracts, the player is in control of everything. Your success depends on your skill of balancing all of these tasks. They have listened to the fans and have added practice squads into the game and full player editing. There are some interesting new features to Madden this year. One is called Play the Moments, which has the game played more like a simulation where the player is brought in at critical moments like game winning dives and red zone dives. It’s certainly a change up from previous iterations. I’m not sure how important such a mode will be, but it’s not a bad thing to have some variety.
