This is certainly an interesting title. It’s set to release October 25th of this year for the PS4 and PS Vita. Two twins with amnesia, Lann and Reynn awaken in the world of Grimoire. The game includes numerous recognizable characters and monsters from previous final fantasy titles.
It’s interesting in that we see the main characters have two forms. Characters more akin to characters proportions from the early Kingdom Hearts installments and what they specifically refer to as a “cute” more Super-Deformed version. Most characters from the other Final Fantasy titles appear to retain a SD form, while other original plot related characters seem to maintain the more normal proportions. It’s being touted as generating sentiments of nostalgia for the older titles. It also seems that the preorder bonus is a summonable Sephiroth for use in game.
